How to Replace a Transmission Mount on a 2005 Ford Focus Automatic, ***READ THIS***
USE A JACK TO SUPPORT THE ENGINE BEFORE STARTING!!!!
Remove the cover from the battery and undo the cables.
Remove the battery from the car.
Under where the battery was you will see two nuts on the bottom as well as a bolt on the right rear near where the negative terminal would be, remove those and remove the plastic battery stand.
You can now see the transmission mount.
Remove the four nuts around the edge of the mount and then remove the nut in the middle then lift off the mount..
